  ::: Old Good Stuff :::

This is a collection of mostly old books from my childhood.  They're mostly out of print and can be hard to find, so I've digitized them and put them here to make them available to others.  If you have fond memories of the Zip-Zip or Mushroom Planet series books, you can now have digital copies of them.  If you have kids, you can get the whole of each series here.  You can also get some other good kids' stuff, plus a couple of more grown-up items.

Concerning "Reprographics" copies

Many of the PDFs here are done in two formats: one is a straight copy you would read on your computer or in an e-reader; the other is what I call a "reprographics" copy.  These are put together in such a way that you can print the book, cut the pages in half, and then bind them together in a regular-size book instead of having a big ugly stack of 8˝x11 pages on your bookshelf.  (Of course it helps if you have access to reprographics equipment, which can bind them with fastback and trim them up nice and neat.)  Maybe most people won't be interested in the reprographics copies, but they're available here for anyone who'd like to try that way.

The first 4 pages of the reprographics copies are the first and last 2 pages of the book.  That way you can print the first 4 pages on a sheet of cardstock (preferably in color) to make a nice protective book cover, then print the rest of the book to plain paper.  When printing a reprographics copy, be sure to set it to Landscape, print double-sided, and have it print two pages per sheet (I think newer versions of Adobe Reader offer an easy way to set this, by selecting Booklet under Page Sizing & Handling).  Click below for screenshots of the print options you need.

Stuff to Color, Cut Out and Fly!
by Richard Wagner
Spacecraft and Spacemen to Color, Cut Out and Fly! Famous Flying Machines to Color, Cut Out and Fly!

Dining on Babylon 5
 Dining on Babylon 5  A cookbook put out as part of the Babylon 5 franchise.  It's actually considered canon, and makes a brief appearance in a fifth season episode.  It includes substitutes for alien ingredients, of course.  It was published only once, briefly, in the UK, and is hard to find.  This copy has been modified: the author's name is corrected to Stephen (from Steve), various typos have been corrected, and the Garibaldi section is changed to US English, since he's a very American character and there's no way he would have written "cookery book" over and over in his section.
