About the BARIS Trainer

Instructions: A "trainer" is a third-party program that is designed to alter memory locations of running programs (i.e., games). In order for a trainer to work, it must be running simultaneously with the game it was written for. It is best to first start the game and actually begin playing, then switch back to Windows (using Alt+Tab) and run the trainer. Select the desired options and switch back to the game. Do not CLOSE the trainer until you are finished playing the game. Since trainers are written to alter SPECIFIC memory locations, they usually only work with specific versions of the game. This is the most common problem when trainers seem to be "not working."
I've included this file on my BARIS page because it's BARIS-related, and I've tried to include as much related material as I could find, to help make this site a one-stop-shop for all your BARIS needs. I've included it also in the hope that someone, somewhere might find it useful for getting the game running. We're out of the old DOS days, so this program has probably long outlived its usefulness--still, it might help someone to run BARIS natively in a Windows environment, or help get it to run in DOSBox or some other emulator. But, if you plan to try this out, be aware that I haven't tested it in any way and I have no idea if it really works or not. Caveat emptor (or something like that).
